If I am able, I try to make every Michael Baptiste performance. Mike “the soul man” Baptiste brings the heat every time he steps on stage. Bobby Womack, Wilson Picket, Otis Redding, Sam and Dave, Sam Cooke, Michael sings all the great songs by all the classic R&B male singers and he does it with such musical authority and oh, so much passion, the kind of passion that has you feeling him and the music not just hearing a tune.

It was great seeing Mike again returning to Harrahs twice this month for the first time. His high energy show almost burned me out, wow. Actually, we came in for the second set and probably missed most of his ballads which are crowd pleasers everytime.
